Russia's Altai region eyes direct flights to Kazakhstan after new Barnaul terminal opens

BARNAUL. July 27 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Authorities in Russia's Altai region are considering launching direct flights to Kazakhstan from Barnaul airport once a new terminal there is completed, Governor Viktor Tomenko said Saturday, following the Russia-Kazakhstan interregional cooperation forum in Omsk.
