Head of Kazakh charity fund detained for embezzling 1.5 bln tenge donated for flood victims
ASTANA. Nov 14 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Volunteer activist and founder of Kazakhstan's public charity foundation Biz birgemiz (We are together) Perizat Kairat has been detained on suspicion of embezzling money intended for victims of the spring floods, the press service of the Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) reported on Thursday.
