Ex-minister Turgumbayev detained as part of 2022 mass riots case

ASTANA. April 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Yerlan Turgumbayev, an ex-minister of internal affairs and an ex-adviser to the president of Kazakhstan, has been detained, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a Tuesday press release.
