Kazakhstan needs no amendments to Constitution to join protocol on abolition of death penalty - Tokayev


NUR-SULTAN. Sept 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan will not need to amend the Constitution over the joining of the Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which envisages the abolition of the death penalty, President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has said.
