Debt of Kazakh state fund Samruk-Kazyna totaled 9.2 trln tenge in 1st half year, up 3.9%


NUR-SULTAN. July 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – In the first half of 2020, the total debt of National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna increased 3.9% from 8.86 trillion [in 2019] to 9.20 trillion tenge due to the weakening of the national currency, Ernar Zhanadil, the state fund’s co-managing director for economics and finance, told a Thursday briefing in Nur-Sultan.
