Lockdown to be tightened in Nur-Sultan, Almaty from Mar 28
NUR-SULTAN. March 26 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Kazakh president’s national commission on imposing the state of emergency made on Thursday a decision to tighten the lockdown regime in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty from midnight March 28 by: banning city residents from leaving their homes with the following exceptions (they will be allowed to buy food and medicine and go to work); shutting down crowded public places (parks, squares, pedestrian streets, embankements areas, playgrounds, etc.), according to a statement published on the website of the Kazakh government.
