Kazakh former economy minister gets 10 years in jail for corruption

ASTANA. March 14 (Interfax) - Kuandyk Bishimbayev, former national economy minister of Kazakhstan, has been sentenced to ten years in jail with property confiscation for bribery and embezzlement, Adilkhan Shaikhislamov, a judge of the Astana specialized interdistrict court for criminal cases, said.
