Kazakhstan, Russia to co-host conference on Altai as Turkic ancestral home
ALMATY. Jan 20 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan and Russia will co-host an international conference in September focusing on the Altai region as the historic homeland of Turkic peoples, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced Tuesday.
