Kyrgyzstan proposes revisiting U.S. visa-free entry after new bond requirement


ALMATY. Jan 9 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov said the Kyrgyz government should re-examine its visa exemption for U.S. citizens. The move follows a U.S. State Department announcement that citizens of Kyrgyzstan and several other nations must post a bond of $5,000 to $15,000 when applying for certain visitor visas.
