Kazakh National Bank to triple note issuance to absorb excess liquidity

ASTANA. Nov 28 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The National Bank of Kazakhstan will triple its issuance of short-term notes to 1.5 trillion tenge starting in 2026 in order to more effectively withdraw excess liquidity from the financial market, National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov said.
