ERG to build hot-briquetted iron plant in Rudny with Austria's Primetals and US's Midrex investing 650 bln tenge

ASTANA. Oct 20 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) has signed a strategic contract with a consortium comprising Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH (Austria) and Midrex Technologies Inc. (USA) for the construction of a hot-briquetted iron (HBI) plant in the city of Rudny in the Kostanay region of northern Kazakhstan, the ERG press service reported.
