Kazchrome to boost chromium output by 400,000 tonnes after commissioning waste processing facility


KHROMTAU. Sept 26 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Donskoy Ore Mining and Processing Plant (Donskoy GOK), owned by Kazchrome of Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), has put into commercial operation a project to extract chromium from industrial waste using gravity and flotation methods, aiming to increase concentrate production by nearly 400,000 tonnes annually, said Baurzhan Utemisov, director of Donskoy GOK.
