Kazakhstan harvests 5.9 million tonnes of grain from a quarter of sown area

ASTANA. Sept 2 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakh farmers have harvested grain from 4.2 million hectares, or 26% of the total area sown with grain, yielding 5.9 million tonnes so far, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov said Tuesday.
