Kazakh environmental campaign removes 190,000 tonnes of waste, plants 2 million trees

ASTANA. June 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan has collected nearly 190,000 metric tonnes of waste and cleaned approximately 735,000 hectares of land through 573 environmental events this year within the "Taza Kazakhstan" (Clean Kazakhstan) initiative, Ecology Minister Yerlan Nysanbayev reported Wednesday.
