Kazakh president orders new defense minister to boost military readiness

ASTANA. June 9 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed newly appointed Defense Minister Dauren Kosanov to strengthen the armed forces' combat readiness, the presidential press service said Monday.
