Kazakh president appoints new defense minister

ASTANA. June 9 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has relieved Ruslan Zhaksylykov of his duties as the country's defense minister and appointed Dauren Kosanov to this post, the presidential press service said.
