Kazakh government may fund Karachaganak gas processing plant if no private investors found
ASTANA. May 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan is prepared to finance the construction of a gas processing plant (GPP) at the Karachaganak field from the government budget if private investment agreements fall through, Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov told Interfax-Kazakhstan on Thursday.
