EBRD to lend up to 102 bln tenge for power grid modernization in Almaty

ASTANA. Sept 7 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a long-term loan of up to 102 billion tenge (€194 million equivalent) to JSC Alatau Zharyk Company (AZhC) to upgrade the power grid in the city of Almaty and in the Almaty region, the lender’s press service said in a press release.
