China's CATL ready to build battery plant in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Chinese battery giant CATL is prepared to build a battery factory in Kazakhstan, a project that would be the first large-scale facility of its kind in Central Asia, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said after meeting CATL co-chairman Pan Jian in Shanghai on Thursday.
