Kazakh banks see mortgage demand rebounding in Q2 after 21% drop

ALMATY. May 22 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Banks in Kazakhstan expect demand for mortgage loans to pick up in the second quarter of 2026 after applications fell 21% in the first three months of the year, the National Bank said Friday.
