Russia to finance 85% of Kazakhstan’s nuclear plant construction via loan

ASTANA. April 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Russia will finance 85% of the construction costs of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan through an interstate loan, while the remaining 15% will be covered by the Kazakh government, Kazakhstan’s Atomic Energy Agency head Almasadam Satkaliyev said Tuesday.
