Kazakhstan seizes 13.5 tonnes of narcotics since start of year – Interior Ministry

ASTANA. Sept 5 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakh law enforcement authorities seized 13.5 tonnes of narcotics, nearly 24 tonnes of precursors and shut down 105 clandestine drug laboratories from January through August 2025, Kuandyk Alzhanov, deputy chairman of the Interior Ministry’s Committee for Countering Drug Crime, said Friday.
