Kazakhstan seeks international funding for key phase of North Aral Sea restoration

ASTANA. Jan 21 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has ordered his government to secure funding by the end of the year for a critical next stage in restoring the North Aral Sea, turning to international lenders to finance a major infrastructure project.
