Unknown people threaten judge overseeing Bishimbayev case

ASTANA. April 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Astana police department has opened a criminal case following threats that were addressed to Judge Aizhan Kulbayeva, the presiding judge in the Kuandyk Bishimbayev case, a former minister of national economy who is on trial for the brutal murder of his common-law wife, the press service of the Supreme Court said in a Friday press release.
