    KAZAKH NATIONAL BANK MINTS A COIN DEDICATED TO WORLD FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

    The National Bank of Kazakhstan has issued a 100-tenge silver coin as part of the “Sports” series to commemorate the World Football Championship 2010, which will take place in the Republic of South Africa.

    The obverse of the coin contains a stylish picture of a stadium with Kazakhstan’s National Emblem in the center, the reverse side illustrates two football players with a sign “2010 FIFA WORLD CUP SOUTH AFRICA TM" along the rim of the coin.

    The bank has minted 10,000 coins and 3,000 of them will stay in Kazakhstan.
