Kazakhstan passes package of laws aimed at protecting rights of women, children

ASTANA. April 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a law, On Changes and Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic Concerning Protection of Women's Rights and Safety of Children, and the law On Changes and Amendments to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offences on Issues Concerning Protection of Women's Rights and Safety and Children, the presidential press service said.
